About
Typically Muroka Nama Genshu are heady and rich but there’s a growing trend to ferment them dry. This mostly shows on the finish. Pomelo, lychee and herbs on the nose with a clean, dry finish making a universally appealing and pairing ready sake.
Serving
Lightly chilled to slightly warm in a white wine glass. Will evolve for weeks after opening.
Brewery
Founded in 1844, Kubota Brewery uses Tanzawa Mountains spring water. The area around the brewery remains as rich in nature as it was when it was first founded – bamboo shoots and wild vegetables in spring, fireflies in summer, it is used as a movie filming location. They aim to create a well-balanced meal sake that makes the most of the flavor of rice, preserving the history of traditional brewing and yet pursuing deliciousness at a higher level for future generations.
